Hi Linnea-

Here's my 10 year old in her hunt coat, pattern #5004. This is the second one I've made and it turned out even better than the first. I used a lighter interfacing than the first coat, made sure to measure and re-measure my daughter, and slowed down enough to do the sleeves right. It's comfortable and she really likes that she was able to pick out the pretty lavender lining. I skipped the welt pockets this time but like the results the same. Thanks for an uncomplicated pattern!

I have once again been really busy sewing and I thought I'd send you a link to all the breeches I've made so far. Some you will have already seen, but I believe there are 4 new pairs on there.

I've even come out with a way to BLING up the riding breeches by addig some cord piping around the full seat! I really think it looks classy & smart! :)

Add some BLING to your riding attire with some piping around the top 1/2 of your full seats. It doesn't get in the way and looks terrific!

These breeches I made are SOO soft. They are made out of yoga pant type material and move with the body SOO well.

Here are pictures from last spring of my 8 year old and the hunt coat that I made for her (#5004). I've never attempted any tailored clothing and found this
to be fun. She measured a size 6 but I should have taken into account that she's slim, but the length should have been altered. We lined it with a pale pink and even overheard some judges talking about liking the color and not seeing many like it. We've already picked out fabric for the next one and I will spend some more time making sure it fits and working the sleeves in a little better! Thanks for providing an affordable way to show our backyard pony!
